We are looking forward to your upcoming video shoot. Here are some tips to ensure the successful production of your video. Planning ahead is key to the success of any project.
Filming Prep Planning Checklist
- Make sure we have names and numbers for all key contacts at each location
- Make sure we have names and numbers for all with speaking roles
- Plan for a client representative to be present during the shoot to coordinate, watch the client monitor, and give approvals – and provide us their contact info
- We will provide you with release forms for everyone to sign
- If we are shooting content for social media plan for multiple wardrobe changes so it looks like content was captured on different days
Filming Prep Casting Checklist
- When choosing employees/actors/models to represent your company consider who will appeal most to your audience
- Think about demographics, dress, visible tattoos on hands, arms, neck, face, how they speak, demeanor, etc
- Consider employee turnover – have a variety of faces to preserve the longevity of your content
- Make sure all people speaking are prepared with talking points or scripts
Filming Prep Cleaning Checklist
- Make sure your facility, grounds, trucks, equipment, uniforms, hats, etc are clean, uncluttered, and presentable so that you put your best face forward
- Prepare everything as you want to be shown
- Plan like you want this video to last for 5 years
